Advanced Intelligent Printer Management (IPM)

unique feature, called Advanced Intelligent Printer Management (or IPM), of
our
XID590ie printer driver, you can connect up to 7 printers
simultaneously to one PC to crank out up to 840 cards per hour. This feature
is perfect for the central issuance of large scale projects like driver's
licenses, national ID cards, corporate employee badges, university student
IDs, bank cards, insurance cards and service bureau gift cards.
In addition to producing thousands of beautiful, high definition cards per
day, you can also manage all of your magnetic stripe, contact and
contactless chip encoding schemes at the same time. With all 7 printers
running in parallel, there is absolutely zero down-time. If a single unit
runs out of media, the next card to be printed moves to the next available
printer in line, including its encoding information. And with the unique
verification process of the card printer, which handles the encoding portion
first, you never issue a bad card! The printer will encode and verify before
printing. If the card electronics are not functional, the printer will eject
the card out the right side, pull in the next card, and attempt the encoding
scheme. If successful, the card is then sent on to be printed. You never
have to worry about handing out a non-functional smart card again.
