unique feature of its new driver for the EDIsecure
XID5xxie Professional Line Retransfer Card Printers. K-Panel
Security Ribbon Erase gives you the ability to permanently erase the printed
data on the K-resin black panel on our YMCK or YMCKK ribbons during the
print process. When activated in our Retransfer series printer driver, the
printer will pull back the used color ribbon during the last card print, and
digitize the remainder of the K-Panel onto a used retransfer film patch,
thereby making both the film and ribbon illegible to unwanted eyes.
You don't need another after-market device to secure your used
materials, and you can turn it on or off with the click of your mouse in our
advanced XID5xxie printer driver. Download the brochure

K-Panel Dithering
In addition to the driver feature that allows you to erase the used black resin print from the K-Panel, our new Dithering feature allows you to print monochrome resin images with the appearance of grayscale. This feature is automatically initiated whenever you send a color image to print in K-Panel resin only on one of our XID5xxie retransfer printers. The dithering effect, which uses Floyd-Steinberg HQ Dithering at a 50% threshold can clearly be seen, and the quality is vastly improved over similar features offered by other printers. This feature can also be used with the K-panel ribbon erase feature above to create both better images and security.
