Laser engraving adds a new dimension to ID documents by incorporating all three levels of security (Levels 1/2/3) through this single technology, and when used offline, the LCP 9000 offers black and white engraving for the most cost effective solution in the market.

Level 1: Cursory
examination, without tools or aids involving easily identifiable visual or
tactile features, for rapid inspection at point of usage.

Changeable Laser Image (CLI),
Multiple Laser Images (MLI), and
raised lettering
(tactile engraving) can
easily be validated with no tools.

Level 2: Examination by
trained inspectors with simple equipment.

Micro text produced via
the laser can easily be detected by a small magnifier
